Plot Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger
Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger is an upcoming Japanese Tokusatsu-drama and the 48th installment in Toei Company’s Super Sentai Series.
The series will premiere on March 3, 2024, joining Kamen Rider Gotchard line-up after the finale of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. The show’s theme is vehicles, customization and racing.

The trademark for the series was filed by Toei Company on September 1, 2023. A full poster was revealed on December 22, 2023, featuring Bun Red, Blue, and Pink. A second teaser image was released on January 21, 2024, revealing Bun Black and Bun Orange alongside the other three Boonboomgers.

On January 28, 2024, Toei announced that a press conference would be held to discuss the show and reveal its cast, which took place on February 18, 2024 and was hosted by Sakura Miyajima.

Huh, it sure takes some weeks to have some comments made public around here. I just want to say, the awkward transformer shipping and now pink’s ex episode… Not even Gotchard could escape from having this sort of focus sometimes but… *sigh*
Hey the transformer shipping was….. weird, but the pink’s ex was a fun inclusion imo. At least it resolved this whole ideal from the first episode and wasn’t made into a reoccurring gag. Though the only thing that disappointed me was how it looks like the quickly abandoned the villain’s new idea of using a single human. This was also my main problem with Madrex, they wrap up or abandon things so quickly which could of been way more interesting if they focused on it. Like if Madrex died and was rebuilt into a cyborg by cannonborg that would of been an interesting concept, or another idea from this episode if they realized that maybe instead of mass hysteria they focused on refining the energy was way more efficient that would also be interesting as a way to focus on more focused ideas. But it really just went by too quick. Like its episode 20 for goodness sakes, we just had the ‘rival character’ die in 2 episodes and a alot of interesting concepts gone by and went to complete waste.
I remember just now while writing this they haven’t used the modification stuff since modifying Yarucar which is weird since they introduced Cannonborg but all he does is experiment and test stuff with nothing that really shows what he is building towards the future.
genba is so sanji-coded i can tell the writers only gave him a lollipop bc they couldnt give him cigarettes. its a shame tho cuz it would have been cold asf. and if it was the showa era they’d totally do that lmfao

Okay, it took me a while too understand entirely what’s the deal with episodes 5 and 8 but TV Tropes isn’t helping either. So far, so good once more.
I may understand why Toei is taking this kind of approach lately, but it’s still lackluster in execution to say the least and I won’t go into details or discuss about it since I won’t be watching anymore. Hopefully a future season will be like classic Sentai again and not just superficially.

the whole “good monster” episode has been done so many times before, but this last episode easily might be among the best times they did it, was not expecting such an emotional performance
